Cacao Avocado Matcha Brownies
Rich, fudgy, and naturally sweetened, these brownies are made with wholesome ingredients and our award-winning Raw Cacao Matcha. The perfect way to enjoy the final tins before we say jaa mata ne.
Makes: 12 brownies
Ingredients
* 2 ripe avocados
* 2 eggs
* 1/3 cup maple syrup
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1/4 cup almond butter
* 1/2 cup almond meal
* 1/4 cup cacao powder
* 2 tbsp OHAYŌ Raw Cacao Matcha
* 1 tsp baking powder
* Pinch of sea salt
* 50g dark chocolate, roughly chopped (optional)
Method
1. Preheat oven to 175°C and line a small square baking tin.
2. Blend the avocado until completely smooth.
3. Add eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, and almond butter and blend again.
4. Add almond meal, cacao powder, raw cacao matcha, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
5. Fold through dark chocolate if using.
6. Pour into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the center is just set.
8. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
OPTIONAL:
* 2 tbsp almond butter
* 1 tbsp maple syrup
* 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
* 1 tsp OHAYŌ Raw Cacao Matcha
* Pinch sea salt
Whisk until smooth. If it’s too thick, add 1 tsp warm water.
Drizzle on top of your cooled brownies
