OHAYŌ Modern Matcha has just taken out Gold, Bronze, and Editor's Choice in the Ritual Drinks category at the Clean & Conscious Awards. All three, in the same category. Still sinking in over here.

For those who don't know the backstory — OHAYŌ didn't start as a business plan. It started with my grandmother, a shared pot of tea, and a morning ritual that meant more than the drink itself. That idea — that how you start your day matters — is what's shaped everything since: sourcing certified organic, first-flush Saemidori matcha grown in Shizuoka, Japan; keeping every blend clean-label with no additives, no shortcuts; and building a brand that's honest about what's actually in the cup.

That's exactly what this award recognises. Clean & Conscious isn't about flashy packaging or big budgets — it's about brands doing things properly, from sourcing through to what lands on your bench. Being told that's what we're doing, by people whose job it is to check, means everything.

None of this happens solo, even though most days it feels that way. It happens because you chose OHAYŌ for your morning ritual, stocked us in your cafe, or gifted a tin to someone you love. This win is as much yours as it is ours.
